Dimitar Lazarov

Working within the Regional Cooperation Division, my task consisted of compiling reports on the
legislative assistance offered by the Legislative support task force (LSTF) to South Eastern European
countries. The LSTF deals with laws or draft laws on protection of the architectural heritage as a part
of a larger Institutional Capacity Building Plan. I had to produce a report analyzing the work of the
LSTF throughout the years and suggest ideas for its further development based on the new
challenges and changing situation in the region. I also wrote a second report focusing especially on
the LSTF involvement in the drafting of the cultural heritage law of Kosovo.

I worked within a busy international team, often under pressure. I had to maintain relationships with
several services in different countries. I was responsible for the day to day treatment of customer and
vendor files, prepared analysis of accounts, assisted in month end closing.
